Muis Controls Ltd. warrants that the products it sells will be free from defect in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 12 months from the date of shipment. Some products may have longer warranties or extended warranties may be available, consult Muis Controls Ltd. Muis Controls Ltd. shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage, implied or statutory, resulting from the use or inability to use any items sold by us. It is the purchaser's responsibility to determine that the equipment is suitable for its intended use and must assume all risk in connection with its use. These terms and conditions as stated are the only terms and conditions under which our products are sold. We will not be bound to terms and conditions to the contrary stated by the purchaser in any form. Placement of an order or acceptance of delivery of any item sold by us shall be considered acceptance of Muis Controls Ltd.'s terms and conditions.

Terms of delivery are F.C.A our warehouse in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada. Unless agreed to otherwise, we will ship all goods collect by ground courier. Orders with a value of $2000.00 or more will be shipped prepaid by ground courier.
In order to facilitate faster deliveries, it may be necessary at times for us to fly goods in from our suppliers or to fly goods out to our customers. This will be done with pleasure as a service to our customer. However, any extra air courier/freight charges will be the responsibility of the customer.
If the customer has an established credit account in good standing, our payment terms are net 30 days from the date of shipment. To obtain a credit application in order to establish an account, please contact our customer service desk at 1-800-661-8823. Customers who do not have an established credit account may receive goods C.O.D. For your convenience, we are also pleased to accept Visa or MasterCard Credit Cards.

If you have regular and ongoing requirements for flow meters, rotameters, or flow indicators, we will be happy to negotiate an arrangement whereby we maintain inventory levels to meet your needs. This will help to reduce your own inventory costs and improve your supply delivery lead times.

Many of our flow meters can be used on fluids other than air or water. Contact our customer service representatives to discuss your application at 1-800-661-8823, or fax us a completed copy of our flow meter application information form found on the downloads page. Taking into account your actual operating conditions such as pressure, temperature, specific gravity, viscosity, etc., we will be happy to calculate the equivalent flow range and help you select the flow meter which best suits your requirements.

Highly flammable, volatile, toxic, and other hazardous fluids should only be metered with flow meters constructed of suitable materials. The use of plastic flow meter fittings and tubes or glass tubes for these services is not recommended. The use of plastic flow meter fittings and tubes on pressurized air or gas service is also not recommended unless pressures and temperatures are low and gases are inert. Metal tube (armoured) flow meters designed to withstand high internal pressures and high mechanical stress should be used in these services. PTFE, PVDF, PVC and other special plastic materials are available to handle almost all corrosive applications.
Muis Controls Ltd. will offer assistance to the best of our ability to help you select a suitable flow meter type, flow range, and materials of construction, but it is ultimately the purchaser's responsibility to ensure that the flow meter selection is appropriate for the application.
